Tiny Chat makes it easy to customize the appearance of your live chat widget, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your brand's identity. A customized widget helps reassure your users when they contact your Sales or Customer Support team.
Head to the appearance settings on your Tiny Chat dashboard to get started (you must be logged in).
The main color is the most prominent color in your widget. It will be applied to the widget bubble, header, and your team's messages. We recommend using a color from your brand’s palette—specifically, the “call to action” color, as it encourages users to engage with the widget.
For the users' message background color and the widget background color, choose secondary colors that complement your main color. Ensure that there’s good contrast for a visually appealing and accessible experience.
Speaking of contrast, the text color will adjust automatically to ensure readability against the selected background color. So no need to worry about that!
Want a more subtle live chat? You can reduce the size of the widget bubble to make it less obtrusive. On the other hand, if Tiny Chat is central to your website's lead conversion strategy, consider increasing the bubble size to make sure users don’t miss it.
If you'd like your widget to stand out more, consider adding a shadow effect. By default, there is no shadow, but this small detail can make the widget pop visually on your website.
Don’t overlook this setting! You can upload a custom `.png` logo, in either white or black (depending on contrast), to display inside the chat bubble.
Alternatively, if you prefer to keep things simple, you can keep using Tiny Chat’s default chat icon to ensure users immediately recognize it as a live chat.
We’re working on documentation that will allow you to add custom CSS to further modify the appearance of your Tiny Chat widget. This feature is still in development, but if you’re interested in testing it out, reach out to us via our Tiny Chat!
With Tiny Chat, you have full control over how the chat widget looks on your website. Customize it to match your brand’s identity and create a seamless, engaging experience for your users.
